Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms occasionally; material changes will be announced in-app or on this page, and continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

Your Daily Puzzle ("we," "us") publishes Daily Puzzles, a mobile game containing eight daily puzzles — Cipher, Clusters, Distance, Flags, Emoguess, Palette, Shades, and Outline. Puzzles refresh once every 24 hours at midnight UTC. Past puzzles are available in a rolling archive (3 most recent days for free users, full archive for Pro subscribers).

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and over. If you are under 13, please do not use the Service. Parents or guardians who discover their child under 13 has used the Service can contact us at hello@yourdailypuzzle.com to request deletion of any associated data.

You can play anonymously. The Service generates a random account identifier at first launch so you can track streaks and archive without creating a username or password. Because there is no password on an anonymous account, we cannot recover one tied to a lost or wiped device — uninstalling the app or clearing app data may permanently reset your streak.

You may optionally sign in with an email and password to persist your progress across devices, access stats and leaderboards, and unlock the full archive (with a Pro subscription). You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

You agree not to:

• Cheat, automate, or script puzzle solutions
• Reverse engineer the app or extract puzzle data
• Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others
• Attempt to disrupt our backend, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, or submit malicious data
• Impersonate Your Daily Puzzle or use our brand without permission

All puzzles, artwork, code, branding, and content in the Service are owned by Your Daily Puzzle or its licensors, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for non-commercial enjoyment. No ownership is transferred to you.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that puzzles will be available at any particular time. We may pause, modify, or discontinue the Service at any time.

Pro subscription. The Service offers an optional auto-renewing Pro subscription that unlocks the full archive, custom theme accents, and other paid features. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we do not process payment cards.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal charge is applied within 24 hours of the period ending.

Managing or cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro features until then.

Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their store policies. We do not issue refunds directly.

Price changes. If we change the subscription price, we will notify you in advance and give you the chance to cancel before the new price takes effect.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Your Daily Puzzle is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. Cancelling a Pro subscription does not delete your account — see Privacy Policy for self-service deletion.

We may change features or availability of the Service without notice. Material pricing changes are subject to Section 8. We will post updates to these Terms on this page and update the effective date above.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Your Daily Puzzle operates. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable local law grants you rights to a different forum.
