Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms occasionally; material changes will be announced in-app or on this page, and continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

Your Daily Puzzle ("we," "us") publishes Daily Puzzles, a mobile game containing two daily puzzles — Cipher (a 6-letter word game) and Clusters (a word-grouping game). Puzzles refresh once every 24 hours at midnight UTC. Past puzzles are available in a rolling 14-day archive.

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and over. If you are under 13, please do not use the Service. Parents or guardians who discover their child under 13 has used the Service can contact us at hello@yourdailypuzzle.com to request deletion of any associated data.

The Service uses anonymous sign-in: we generate a random account identifier so you can track your streak and archive without creating a username or password. Because there is no password, we cannot recover an account tied to a lost or wiped device. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data may permanently reset your streak.

You agree not to:

• Cheat, automate, or script puzzle solutions
• Reverse engineer the app or extract puzzle data
• Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others
• Attempt to disrupt our backend, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, or submit malicious data
• Impersonate Your Daily Puzzle or use our brand without permission

All puzzles, artwork, code, branding, and content in the Service are owned by Your Daily Puzzle or its licensors, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for non-commercial enjoyment. No ownership is transferred to you.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that puzzles will be available at any particular time. We may pause, modify, or discontinue the Service at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Your Daily Puzzle is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is currently free, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which may be zero).

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app.

We may change features, pricing, or availability of the Service without notice. We will post updates to these Terms on this page and update the effective date above.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Your Daily Puzzle operates. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable local law grants you rights to a different forum.
